Thought this time would be different

Thought there would be a “happy forever after”

Never knew I couldn’t/shouldn’t trust him or the

Feelings we shared

Never thought I wouldn’t be good enough

Never use to be afraid

We were one and I trusted him/trusted me

To take care of everything…..

He pushed, I pulled

It all seemed to work out because we knew

We had each other

Broken dreams, broken heart

Life turned upside down

I’m falling……. No one to catch me

Gotta go it alone.

Adjusting to this new life is more

Then I care to think about these days…..just going through

Remembering this, remembering that

Must stop myself from thinking

Must stay present – must push forward – DON’T LOOK BACK!!!

Trying to create a new forever

Managed to get through

Managed to even smile today…….It was a good day!
